The double scissors pantograph

for precise positioning of lighting, as well as for audio and video equipment. The motorized vertical movement is managed by a dynamic self-locking and maintenance-free gear. Optional horizontal motorized adjustment is possible with appropriate carriers. The Double Scissor Pantograph is perfect for use In studios with ceiling heights up to 10 meters, allowing lighting equipment to be positioned fl exibly, as well as in TV studios with low working altitudes, where the motorized pantograph is an ideal economical alternative due to its low profi le height when retracted. Furthermore, the motorized pantographs considerably reduce stress levels on grid and ceiling because of their light-weight design.  The aluminum rectangular profiles of high mechanical strength and special guidance of the scissors provide for precise vertica pulling in both directions combined with minimal torsional and radial clearance.  The power cord is held by plastic clips securely within the shear range. Lifting is managed either by a 17/29 mm DIN TV Socket with a loop for safety rope (to DIN 15560 T46) or by a short rail equipped to hold two lighting devices. Each pantograph is equipped with an independent overload,,slack-cable and cable-break detection system. Detectors fort he end of the upper and lower operating range as well as additional emergency switches for the end of the maximum range in both directions. Movement stops immediately and reliably as a response to the safety devices. Remotely controllable via radio control or bus control as well as a pole-operated pantograph switch for "UP/DOWN". Motor drive 3-phase 230/400V, 50 Hz 0.4 kW motor with thermal protection (bimetal tripping with 125° C) standard of protection IP 54, motor winding in isolation class B capacity of the drive shafts 1500 N radial load and 750 N axial load. Any common rail carriage can be mounted on the pantograph and it's easy to use in a studio.

• Trolleys for manual or motorized horizontal movement available for all common rail systems. All motorized units may also be controlled by a bus system.
