have very precise aluminum square hollow rungs to ensure a stable extension in the longitudinal axis. The radial clearance is therefore negligible. The black anodized squared hollow sections combine low weight and high torsional rigidity. The gearbox is molded from a block of aluminum and is anodized black as well. The precise maintenance-free worm gear is self-locking and reduced in two stages, thus enables rapid movement of the pantograph. An automatic stop in the drum allows the individual limit of the maximum extract. The pantographs are above standard with a 28 mm DIN TV spigot, or delivered with appropriate carriers. A 17/29 mm DIN TV Socket at the bottom. Uncompromisingly precise and detail oriented manufacturing distinguishes Lampyris products for use in harsh studio conditions.

A special End-of-roll safeguarding prevents the complete unwinding of the tightrope. Thus the safety requirements are met by allowing two winding turns of rope on the drum to remain at any time. Because of the great view inside the drum you have an excellent control of the copper seal of the rope at the end. A 17/29 mm DIN TV Socket allows for comfortable and easy installation of diff erent luminaire yokes. The Toggle screw and a safety locking pin are attached securely at the Socket.
